Gayle Webster, Broker Associate - Durango
Gayle grew up in a small town in Connecticut, second to last in a line of six kids. Dad was retired Navy, and Mom ran her own business, both were successful entrepreneurs. Gayle began her education at Northeastern University in Boston where she studied Business Communications for several years before deciding to scrap it all to head in a different direction after 9-11. She moved to Durango in 2002 to finish her college career at Fort Lewis, and graduated in 2005 with a BFA in Photography & Design. Gayle still does a lot of photography in her spare time and on her many travels, and she also shoots a few weddings a year.
Gayle met her husband Ian right here in Durango, and they couldn’t have imagined settling anywhere else. Although they enjoy traveling throughout the US and abroad, they love nothing more than coming home to Durango & their two dogs, Boston & Tristin. The couple got married in August 2005 at the top of Purgatory Mountain (DMR), where they spend most of the winter seasons snowboarding. Hiking, camping, and rafting the Animas, are among the many activities the newlyweds enjoy taking advantage of living here in sunny Durango.
Gayle bought her first home when she was just 21 and became fascinated with the Real Estate process. Since then she has continued to invest in and restore local property, a process she and her husband have fully embraced by starting their own construction company and entering into Real Estate. Gayle began with Bobbie Carll Realty in 2006, serving as office manager- learning the business from the ground up. She comes from a long line of honest, hard working, self-starters, and she enjoys helping her clients realize the benefits of Real Estate the way that she has.
